- Ferry (v) = to carry people or goods in a vehicle from one place to another = ដឹក, ជូន Ex: The children need to be ferried to and from school.

 - four tanks/containers of gasoline = សាំង៤ធុង/ការដុង

 - Motorbike/ motorcycle (n)= ម៉ូតូ

 - Victim (n)= ជនរងគ្រោះ

 - commune police chief = មេប៉ុស្តិ៍នគរបាលឃុំ/សង្កាត់ 

- secretary of state = រដ្ឋលេខាធិការ

 - Public Works and Transportation Ministry = ក្រសួងសាធារណការ នឹងដឹកជញ្ជូន 

- Nationwide (adv)= happening or existing in all parts of a particular country =ទូទាំងប្រទេស, ទូទាំងផ្ទៃប្រទេស 

- Fatality (n)= ការស្លាប់

- identify (v)= កំណត់អត្ថសញ្ញាណ

 - Ignite (v)= to start to burn = ឆាបចេះ Ex: Gas ignites very easily. 

- burst into sth (Phr)= to start producing sth suddenly and with great force = បង្កើតជា, ផ្ទុះជា

 Ex: The aircraft crashed and burst into flames.
